Based upon the core values of justice, kindness and humility, I combine my love for God, people and public service with practical teaching methods to help public and non-profit entities build better councils and boards while strengthening staff and stakeholder relations.

During my twenty plus years of experience in the public/political arena and through trial and error - victories and defeats - successes and setbacks, I have learned what works and what doesn't work. My goal is not to get people elected - I leave that to the political consultants. My goal is to provide the tools necessary for public and non-profit sector leaders to serve more effectively an increasingly skeptical public in an environment of dwindling resources and competing social and economic interests - not consultant-to-client, but colleague-to-colleague. I have found that unless one has been tried in the fire of public service, it is difficult to relate to the heat. I specialize in:

• Board and council retreats;

• Group facilitation;

• Panel discussions;

• Keynotes;

• Break-out presentations; and,

• Customized presentations.
